Arches Counselling & Consulting offers custom-designed workshops for your practice, agency, and or organization. Our workshops can range from a 1.5 hr in-service training- multiple day format.
Some examples include; listening & responding, IEP – how to advocate, and supporting autistic youth and families.
Whether you’re a licensed therapist, clinical counsellor, social worker, community service provider, parent/guardian our workshops provide a unique opportunity to learn together.

+ PRACTICUM PLACEMENT FOR STUDENTS
Explore a practicum placement.
Arches Counselling offers an engaging and rich practicum experience with a personalized approach to each student. Shadow our therapists, follow a tailored supervision guide and engage in various training opportunities.
We work with local schools, mental health providers, and agencies to advocate for our client’s well-being. Collaboration within our team, to support multiple family members is as important to us as partnering with different resources to align our efforts with the family’s values.

Arches Counselling is expanding! There are several options to join our team for a minimum one-year commitment. We are specifically looking for counsellor or child and youth therapists; however, we would also welcome another specialty to diversify Arches’ skill set.
We are a divergent-affirming practice for both our therapists and clients so if you have struggled to find working environments that are flexible, please be in touch. Our philosophy is rooted in narrative, queer, critical disability, and feminist theories.
We are committed to having an inclusive space founded upon therapeutically ethical relationships that embrace the unique knowledge necessary to co-construct alternative stories.
*Our White Rock location has limited accessibility. The office is located on the second floor and there is no elevator. Our Salmon Arm location is fully accessible.
